Winter closure & schedule

The Montenegro Tower bar will switch to winter Schedule from Friday, October 17th, being open on Friday, Saturday from 18:00 – 23:00 & Sunday from 14:00 – 18:00 to have a chance for some nice winter sunsets. Please also note that the Bar will close from December 15th until the end of March. Check out the rest for the post for all the details.

The Bar is now open on Fridays, Saturdays from 18:00 – 23:00 & Sundays 14:00 – 18:00 and will close during the winter from December 15th until the end of March.

Some of you have already found out about my health problems losing 10kg in a few months on my Facebook post, and I wanted to share a quick summary here as well regarding the Bar closure from December 15th. After three full years of hard work, with most of the days working between 15-20 hours on my project, I feel like it is time to take some time off and recharge my batteries. I have not noticed it myself, but I did lose over 10kg of weight over the last months. I have also had some other sympthons of health related problems, but those are currently checked in the hospital and I can’t say what it is just yet. Next to my work volume, I also have a tremendous amount of stress due to the unresolved parking situation. It is another very long story with lots of twists and turns, but rest assured, I am doing everything in my power to secure parking land. Unfortunately, I do not have the financial means to simply buy the land in front of my plot; and it appears as if someone else might buy it now to most likely build a house there. This would mean that I will lose my current parking spots. There is one alternative, but it requires the municipality to build a public parking on the other side of the road, which we are currently working on but it is very uncertain if this will work out. If it does, it will take some time for sure.

So I have decided to use the cold winter to escape and travel a bit again, while handling the parking situation. Everything I could have done has been done and now its in the hands of others to complete the next steps. The Tower will be open for the last time this year on December 14th and then open up sometime end of March hopefully, depending on if there will be parking available or not. If no parking is available, I might have to switch the business model to private events and accommodation only, without the day-to-day bar business.
